This was my first meal and was so impressed with food, service, value and location, I will highly recommend you
Located in the impressive surroundings of Plymouth’s Royal William Yard, our Plymouth bistrot is a unique place in which food and drink can be enjoyed in true French style.
We embrace French culture and love of food and celebrate all that is great about French cuisine. All of our dishes are freshly prepared in our bistrots by our chefs, using a mix of artisan provincial ingredients and carefully selected locally sourced ingredients, in the style of typical continental bistrots.
Our bistrot is situated in the New Cooperage building which opens up onto a large outdoor terrace with seating. This overlooks a magnificent lawn, upon which a local farmers’ market takes place on the first Sunday of every month.
Alexis has worked in some of the finest 5 star hotels and Michelin starred restaurants in Paris. He joined the bistrot family in 2008 as a waiter, quickly progressing to General Manager.
After completing his apprenticeship in London’s West End, Steve spent 3 years at Nodo in Madrid, after there he went to work at sea on luxury cruise ships. He joined Le Bistrot Pierre in 2007 until 2010. He has now returned to head up the Plymouth kitchen.
