It's a great place to eat, I've eaten there with just my husband and also in a group of nearly 20, the food is always lovely and the service is friendly and professional. The steak pave is very good!
Located within the Swan’s Nest hotel, our Stratford bistrot has a smart, yet relaxed atmosphere in an enviable location. Sitting on the banks of the River Avon, our customers can enjoy picturesque views from our bistrot or outdoor terrace whilst dining with us.
We embrace French culture and love of food and celebrate all that is great about French cuisine. All of our dishes are freshly prepared in our bistrots by our chefs, using a mix of artisan provincial ingredients and carefully selected locally sourced ingredients, in the style of typical continental bistrots.
Just five minutes walk from the town centre and main attractions like the Royal Shakespeare Company, our bistrot has become a favourite amongst locals, tourists and actors alike. Customers can also make their dining experience extra special, by dining in our private and intimate Clopton Room. We can also cater for weddings.
Neil joined us in 2009 after working in chef and hospitality management recruitment for two years. Prior to that he’d managed an independent boutique country hotel with a brasserie and bar for four years.
Matthew is a graduate from the academy of culinary arts. He began his career working for five years at the legendary ‘Wiltons restaurant’ of Jermyn street London, where he trained under two world renowned chefs. Matthew then came to Warwickshire and worked at the ‘Ettington Park’ hotel cooking under local top chef Gary Lissemore. He then went on to opening a brand new fine dining pub as head chef in Buckinghamshire, before joining the Bistrot Pierre family in October 2014.
